Marcet: El público tendrá un rol más participativo
Daniel Marcet, CEO of the Festival Iberoamericano de la Publicidad FIAP- (Iberoamerican Advertising Festival), told PRODU that this year’s edition comes with radical changes on format and content. The public will have a more participatory role going beyond listening to speakers, transforming the event in a center of creativity and businesses. “Were placing ourselves at 2036 and the idea that it isnt such a far future. It’s a good exercise to place ourselves in what happened during 20 years, with successes and failures. Companies attending are in need of diversity, changing their course, updating. It’s an interesting way of considering the reality were experiencing which is happening so fast- and wondering where we will be in the next 20 years” he said. Regarding new categories, Marcet announced that important figures will be acting as jurors: Álvaro Rodríguez of África Brasil, who will be the President for TV and Radio; Leo Macías of DDB Colombia, in charge of Graphics, Public Road and Graphic Production Techniques; Carla Eboli of Dieste leading PR, and Leandro Raposo of The Cyranos /McCann, in Innovation, and he will be giving a presentation. Marcet also referred to the alliance with Mexicos industrial club. “The idea is to give businessmen, advertisers, and brands a place and also the possibility for them to familiarize with new technologies, new communication and the importance of creativity in communication.”
